Hey guys, a while back some guys were buying the chrome control kits Cycle Supply. Any feedback??? I am thinking of ordering them, so would like to hear from you folks.

Hey, I just got mine last week and put them on over the weekend along with some new grips. I really cannot imagine them being any nicer. The extra few hundred bucks for the moco's set is just for a fancy box. For $130 you are getting a fantastic deal.

Here's a couple of crappy cell-phone pics of the controls installed on my bike.

Does anyone have an idea if the chrome controls will work on on 08 softail? I have been looking at the HD ones but this would be s much better deal!

I put mine on an 07, so as long as they haven't changed anything (I don't believe they have)you should have no problem. The only issue is the clutch switch inside the left housing. I just removed the switch and taped off the wires. The switch allows the bike to be started in gear as long as the clutch is pulled in, so the only side effect that has is the bike will only start in neutral now. That doesn't bother me at all since I only ever start it in neutral anyway.

Thanks I believe the 08's are the same as the 07's as well so I guess I will have to get me a set.
