Just to clarify before i pull the trigger,if i get the deatchable sideplates 53815-00 and the docking hardware 53931-03 it will push the bags out enough so the signal bar 68615-04 will fit with rubbing on my saddlebags ???
Mogs, check out a licence plate relocator. HD has one. I'm not sure if it works with the tombstone tailight, but Softbrake makes one.
If your using the stock (looks like it on yours with smoked lens) Kuryakyn makes one also that relocates the license. I personally don't mind it on my heritage where it's at with a laydown bracket.
i used the light kit #68615-04 and i also have quick detatch backrestand bags got the kit from bubbabrakes. the lights touch my bags just a little.
Mine are harleys... and they don't touch at all. Just FYI. I will be ordering the bareback detachable that dinger uses here soon and I am assuming that will still be okay.
