Default Engine guard
Just curious. Has anybody installed an HD engine guard that didn't seem to fit just right? I just installed one on my 99 Fatboy this evening, & after I got the middle bolt in,(left it slightly loose), I had to force the sides to get the bolt holes to line up. I got it on, but seems to me that now that it's tight, there's probably alot of stress on the welds. Is this the norm, or did I get one that might have been bent a little crooked?

If I remember right mine was the same way. It's been on for 2 years now with no problems.

Mine was tight to get on but haven't had a problem with it. I installed highway pegs and no issues there either.
