Has anyone put a Le Pera Barebaones soloon their Deuce. If so how do you find the look and feel. I am only considering its use for short distances ie 150 miles at most.Havent seen one up close other than on net.
I'm getting the barebones with gel for my Night Train. Iride 700+(only stopping for gas, 10.5 to 11 hours depending on traffic)on the stock badlander seat, the butt isn't too happy at the end of the day.
I'll let you know what I think of the barebones if the weather lets me get inany good rides
Bare Bones w/gel on 07 FatBoy. I'm over 50 and I just can't ride it more than an hour to 1-1/2 hour at most. Big Ed and the Twins go to sleep. I hear it should break in 500-1000 miles. Have not seen it yet. It is cheap though and only takes about 30 seconds to get it off the bike. I use it for around town and Mustang vintage solo for long rides.
I don't know why everyone bitches about em being so uncomfortable. I ride mine all day long and my butt feels fine. My lower back is killing me, but that's more from position and the fact that I've been riding hard bikes a long time. Let's face it, no motorcycle is going to feel like your favorite armchair or Cadillac. Bought this one for $50 from a forum member here and it's great.
