brake light trouble

put beach barson an 07 springer, internally, everything works but the brake light. the light turns on but doesn't work when braking. any help would be great, thanks.

Did you replace the small retaining clip that holds the switch? It's the small piece of copper that's bent double over and acts as a small spring that holds the brake light swithch in place.

My guess is the plunger is broken on the handle bar switch. What you are seeing is the brake light on. This is common to break the little plunger tab off the end of the switch.
