Temperature does not matter that is what gear is for. I rode 2 hours on saturday about 30 degrees out, but what sux is the 3 hours getting the salt off.

hasn't gotten too cold yet. For more than 2 hour rides, I prefer it to be 35 at the coldest. Of course, warmer is better

Yep, the cold isn't a big deal, it's the ice & salt.

Even if it is 50 degrees, once the De-icer and sand have hit the road, it is time to park it!

Evilize and i were pretty surprised when we headed out yesterday morning and the temp guage on her RoadGlide said 40 degrees but we were still comfortable. we normally have a strict 45 degreeminimum but we were fine with all our duds on. i'm glad we went...the weather was otherwisetoo fine to miss out.

I don't like the cold what so ever. The only riding I'll do once it hits 40-50 degrees is on the mx bike.

Currently the weather is in the mid to high 40's and I so want to ride.
The recent snow, ice and now rain just isn't worth the risk.

I was riding a few weeks ago with it near freezing at 8am and by noon it was awesome.

I live in Maryland so some may know what the weather is like right now but the temps are actually very nice.

the older I get the higher the temp must be. I will leave home in 50/60 degree weather if it will be 70/80 within an hour or so. if it is going to stay ice cold 50/60 all day I stay and watch tv. hell to get old........

I will ride if there is no chance of getting stuck w/ falling temps. I'm looking for the wraps for my engine gaurd and found some heated grips. A friend of mine told me about a .com place that sells to snowmobliers and said they have a riding suit that you can get that's heated. Around here we have a lot of private contractors thet do funerals and they will ride almost all year. My goal is to get the bike out and ride again on Christmas Eve. Nothing to long, just want the neighbors to know I'm still here and still crazy.
