I stick to the 45 degree rule. Under 45 then I do not ride.

 

For all day riding:
Below 40 is too damned cold! I'm gettin' too old fer that, myself!

I'll go out for a lil' while if it's gonna warm upto over 40, but not fer long! (As in, ride to a bar and get a burrito and a beer! )
Then hit the road.

Frosties or ice is a No Go.

 

Cold temps don't keep me off my scoot, but snow/ice do.

Yeah, you guys got hammered good too, eh? How has the driving been the last couple of days? It's been a friggin NIGHTMARE here! The already crappy drivers here are even WORSE when it's like this!

The problem here is the snow removal. I have a Grand
Cherokee, so I could put it in just aboutany snow bank
I see. But there's always some shnook stuck in the middle
of the road somewhere. And they say the snow so far is
just the beginning.[8D][&:]

 

I justride till it's to slippery!!!

 

Twice this year it has been clear in the morning going to work, 1.5 hr comute each way. And after work im wipen the snow off my seat. Its all good, imstill here, been doing it for many years now

when I have to squat to pee for more then 4hr after a ride ITS TIME

 

rode yesterday about 70 miles..... many layers,and a mask. i have very heavy gloves.. temp was about 40 to 45.... i still was pretty cold when i got home. the ride sure was nice... rare to get a ride in at all here in ohio this time of year. i was dreaming of riding many more miles,just a dream till march.... the face mask sure helps though. winter blows . and yea,it was a ride to the harley dealer.
