Clammy
The problem here is the snow removal. I have a Grand
Cherokee, so I could put it in just aboutany snow bank
I see. But there's always some shnook stuck in the middle
of the road somewhere. And they say the snow so far is
just the beginning.[8D][&:]
Pretty much the same thing here. The roads are constantly snarled... lots of tools park and block the road almost enough to prevent any cars passing them. And the friggin white crap just keeps coming! Another 5 or 6 cms today... [:@][:'(][:@][:'(][:@][:'(]
I haven't seen snowfall like this since I was a kid, in DDO, building forts in the 8ft high snow banks!
I'm heading to L.A. in 2 weeks. Needless to say, I CAN'T WAIT!!!!
My feeling is, as long as it isn't raining, and cold.....its always a good time to ride as long as you have the proper gear. Last Saturday night I went to a friends birthday party on my Deluxe, the wind chill was about 25, (thats cold for Austin, Tx) and it was great! I did find that what I thought were cold weather gauntlet styled gloves didn't measure up. The tips of my fingers were numb, which only means that it gives me more reason to buy new gloves!
I do prefer the warmth of summer and the sun on my back but I've been told I am in the hard core riding crew now....
One morning, it was 28 degrees Farenheit...yes, poke out your eyes weather!!
People at the gym gave me the cookoo gestures when I went to leave for work that morning. They just don't understand.
But now, the snow, the ice, the salt....no riding until Mar/April.
Thanks for the link Voyager1, I'll give them a look. It doesn/t get very cold here in central Texas, but when it does I Love It! But Im not moving though! Happy New Year
