Default H-D visor signal trim troubles

This died in general chat, so I figured it might be better to post here. Anyone have a good way to keep the visor lenses for bullet style turn signals securely attached to the bike? I am talking about part numbers 69756-05 and 69757-05. Both seem to come off very easily, not so easily that they fall off while riding, but certainly easily enough to be snatched at a bike night. Any ideas on how to make them more secure? Rubber cement? Some form of non-corrosive bonding agent that can be separated for bulb changes? Magic?

Thought about loctite, but was worried that the chemical composition might be caustic to the plastics and or the chrome. I think it would have to be blue, since the lense has to come off in order to change bulbs.

I actually have a tube of Harley sealant, but wasn't sure it would be effective and/or removable. Thanks for the suggestion!

Mine spin freely, I used a little piece of masking tape on the tabs.

maybe a little silicone adhesive. Hell, I may even try that myself. Never thought about anyone stealing them, but they are rather easy to knock off.

Will have to look around and see what I can dig up. I tend to be a little paranoid when it comes to my stuff. In my experience, there are plenty of people whol will take anything that isn't bolted down, given the opportunity.

Not sure on the bullet style, but the ones that fit the stock frying pan signals on a Heritage have a notch that you line up when you snap them on.

I don't think they will steal it, if so, then what about your dipstick w/temp gauge?
