Enrichment Device from Nightrider Performance Products
Long time reader, first time writer..
I have a stock 2007 Heritage. I am not looking to upgrade the bike at this time ($). I was told by a friend of mine, that at minimum, I should install the Enrichment Device (02 IED) from Nightrider Performance Products to help with the engine heat. Do any of you have any experience with thisproduct (good or bad)?
RE: Enrichment Device from Nightrider Performance Products
I have read up on that device. I would stay with what works. If you want the closed loop then go with the Thundermax. If you are not racing or going to stay with stage 1 then the SERT or PCIII have proven worth. Before I did my PCIIII just installed 2 resistors in place of the 02 sensors and that took care of the heat. Cost about 99 cents.
RE: Enrichment Device from Nightrider Performance Products
Its a "cute" trick "fooling" the ECM the way they do, but I have to agree with tk353, stick with at least aSERT or PCIII.
They may be more expensive now, but they will at least allow for far more precise tuning under different conditions and especially in the case of the SERTmajor engineupgrades later.
