Its funny how all the negative sarcasm, seems to come from those of you with 06 and 07 bikes. I would feel the same way if something better came out the next year. Like the ROCKER. Thats life though, face it.
Moco needs to stick to building the classics and leave the customs to those who do it best. I see why they want in that market but it's just tough to do in a mass production environment.
I heard the same kind of talk when the Deuce came out. It turned out to be a sweet sled. Having said that, I am interrested to see what happens to the Rocker once it has been on the street for a while (Mods from aftermarket, etc). Keeping an open mind on it.....
I almost ordered a Rocker, but now i'm gladI bought my Softail Custom after I saw a Rocker at the dealer yesterday. Looks ok but really lacks in the details that could set it off.
HD really dropped the ball with that bike.
R&Dhad a chance to unveil a new model, with some real potential, and they chose the cheap way out.
It looks like a bikedeveloped from a crate full of old Deuce parts they had in the corner, and slapped together in one day.
What a joke.
I agree completely. They should have went with the Harley look but put in the Vrod powertrain in it. Probably would have picked up more of the market. You'd have the performance buyers interested as in the type that like the latest technology but don't necessary like the look of the Vrod. Could have been a good market feeler for Harleys next generation of liquid cooled models. But then again , what do I know, I'm just a welder. One thing I'm sure of is that I would never but the Rocker. It lacks in most areas that my fxstc already has. Ron
