Does the smoke go away when the bike reaches normal operating temperature? Some smoke from cold isn't necessarily anything to worry about, especially if the ambient temperature is cold. Assuming of course we are not talking about billowing clouds......
the smoke dose go away. i stoped by dealer today, said been on showroom for awhile with real cold weather is what it was glad of that. just never had that happen before i have had a lot of bikes allways can learn. thanks to all of you Dee
I put aThundermax on mine with only 200ks on the clock. The T/Max has 5 wire wideband sensors where the HD items are only 2 wire. T/Max w/Autotune will adjust it self after U put the initial map in. If U can do simple tasks in windows explorer U can load your own map. With the 2-into-1 V&H on it use to back fire and fart alot on deceleration. I up graded the Firmware and map and what a difference. It still pops occasionally but nothing like before and less than my previous 03 deuce with the stage1 download did.
My bike dosn't seem to run as hot as more fuel is delivered which helps cool it down and starts after a week sitting only requires a touch and fires straight up and sets to idle straight away. With very crisp acceleration and easy of install, I would recomend to any one with a EFI bike.
