powder coat opinions
esd - I think the things you listed will look REAL good on your bike... especially with that black springer. However, I'd suggest balancing it out with a few items in the back. No need to go overboard, but a balance is necessary to keep it from looking ackward.
To compare our prices with what you have up there in the great white north wouldn't make sense. I'd suggest shopping around in your area. Talk to some of your local indy shops. Depending on your location, local could be pretty wide-spread.
bgismo20 - Thanks for the referal!
You need to balance it out some. But I may have went a bit overboard.

I also agree, don't be afraid to experiment.
As far as pricing I have my whole front end done, with my bars for under $250

Hey jakazz what size tire you runnin on the front in that picture? You did a mean job on that powder coating. Looks good.
In my sig its a 140x 18 on pm Twisters, but the new set is a 120x 21 mounted on SMW rims.
I have the same ride - a Vivid BlackSpringer Classic and my parts will be delivered this coming weekend.I did a total of 23 pieces of chrome - bead blasting them to prep for the powder and then powder coating them black. I'm even considering powdercoating the tank and fenders once I see them do it and can check the results compaired to regular paint. My blasting was $175.00 and the powder coating ran $450.00 for the following:
Rims and hubs, new handlebars and risers, struts, air cleaner, horn and coil covers, light housings (3), tail light, front fender light, turn signals, instrument console and thetool kit and bracket.
The exhaustheaders, heat shields and muffler will also be Jet-coated in a flat black.
i'll do my rims once i have a need for something else rims alone too much money for now. maybe next winters project.
i'm not touching any original parts. i want to be able to put everything back to original.
not sure on fish tail end caps but i still have a set chrome to switch back to. any suggestions!!!!!
pics still are poor. i need a nice day to get it out in the driveway. flippin snow. lol
