Would you do us a favor and let us know how it really holds up to the description when it arrives?! Some feedback, if you will? I like it!

Will do.
Got it in t'other day. THE MAMA opened the box up and when I got home she was in a coma. Had her head stuck in the box, bag still in it, smelling the leather.

Quality: Leather is thick, finish is excellent.

Neat details: The inside back has a leather pocket sewn in. It doubles the thickness of the back, and the pocket would hold a baggie with some paperwork in it, or even some thicker stuff. Pocke also has a small leather patch with the maker's name branded in it.

Concerns: Stitching doesn't appear that substantial, but I won't know how it holds up 'til after I get some use out of it. If it turns out to be too weak I will rivet the stress points.

It'll be a couple months before it gets on the Sloptail. I have it torn down to almost parade rest for some customizing: new rear fender with Nightster side-mount plate, bullets for tail/brake/turn lights; smaller battery to allow solo seat to sit lower; custom made solo seat pan I'll be adding leather to; new engine & carb; paint frame, tanks rear fender; custom hidden mount trees; front & rear brakes operated off handlebar master cylinder, with rear coming off a proportioning valve; outer primary cut open more than it is already; taller risers; completely rewired using WW2 Navy fighter plane aircraft warning light switch box.

Uh, as I 'splained, the bike is at parade rest. Hardly two pieces connected together right now. Pics will happen in April when the 12 hourd work days stop and I get to play being a human being 'stead of a cog in the machine. [8D]

I've been checking those out on ebay....then I checked clearance available on my left swingarm. It looks like it would be a real tight fit around the belt/sprocket area. Does anyone know if it can be mounted with the buckle on the inside of the bag -- or is there a better way?

As a AF retiree, it looks like the perfect place to stash the orange vest.
