Default The Fatty is back home!!

Some winter maintainence. A new rear tire, rear brake pads, and a reduced effort clutch. Free pick up and delivery thanks to City Limits Harley Davidson in Palatine Illinois. Nice people, fair prices and a great job!!Less than a weeks time for the whole deal. Sorry, dont want this to sound like a commercial but they diddo a stand up job.I even rode it up the street today!!!
WOOHOO!!

[sm=happybounce.gif]
Short ride as it is only about 28 degrees and the streets are dry but salty. All thats left is for me to puton the K&N air cleaner assembly and the PCIII that are waiting in the closet.
Spring is almost here!!!

Good to hear about someone satisfied with the service they're receiving from their dealer. It seems like there are so many people out there with horror stories, it sometimes astounds me that Harley stays in business. Attitude and poor workmanship seem to be the rule of thumb at a lot of HD dealerships I hear about on here.

Signs of spring even this far north. I was headed to the south end of the city yesterday, and say three bikes (all Harleys, coincidentally) out. Main drags are rideable, but horribly sloppy, with all the dirty white stuff starting to melt away. Side streets/parking lots are still horrible, so I've resisted the urge to get the plates renewed, and spark up the bikes just yet. I'm hoping the warm weather continues though, and to be riding by this time next month.

Here's wishing the same to you...if not earlier!

Riding everyday in Carolina except when it rains! Man I couldn't tolerate the cold weather up north. PET
