Anyone used the tool box with a heartland kit?

Anyone know if this would fit with a Softail Custom with saddle bags?

Also, someone asked how these work from a "passenger comfort" standpoint, but I haven't seen any responses.

Thanks all!

I've had no passenger complaints, and the toolbox doesn't interfere with my bags.

There was one installed on my bike when I bought it last June. I took it off and sold it less than a month later. It is entirely a personal preference and opinion of course, but to me, the toolbox seemed difficult to open, didn't actually lock (any tube key would open mine), was bulky, heavy and of limited use. Nice chrome though

I'll probably get a custom made swingarm bag at some point for misc. items I want to carry on my bike.

They can be rekeyed to match your bike. Just peel back the black plastic on your stock key and record the number stamped there. Bring the toolbox lock cylinder and key number to your H-D dealer, and they can take care of it for you. It takes a few weeks though.

Oh yeah … when you go to remove the lock tongue, be aware that the screw is installed with red Loctite. Hit it with a torch first or you'll break something. Don't ask me how I know.

Nice accessory, especially in chrome. Perfect size for a 9mm or .40 cal, but a bit risky with the questionable locking mechanism unless you make sure to remove the "tool" every time you leave the bike.
