Default Screaming Eagle Mufflers?

I have a 08 Anniversary Softail Custom arriving in late March and I am wondering whetherI should take off the stock pipes and put on a set of SE Street Legal Mufflers for I hope abetter sound or should I go the full job? I dont want them too loud but I do want to have the recognised Harley sound. Has anyone got the SE Mufflers on theirsoftail. r u happy? Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks

I have Screaming Eagles on my '07 Fatboy, and I'm very happy with them. I've got the "offroad use only" type, and they are a bit louder than the street legal ones.....but not too loud. They have a nice deep sound.

I bought a set of the street legal one's for my 07 FXST. They were a little deeper toned but not much better than the stockers. I then did some research on the Rush Slip on's and bought the ones with the 2.0 baffles. they sound great even deeper toned much louder and even less expensive. They make them from 1.5 baffles beening the quietest to 2.25 baffles being the loudest. hope this helps.

Thanks for the advice. Pardon my ignorance but r the Rusha Harley Davidson product? Because being a new bike I am concerned about the warranty being void if I put them on. Second time Its being said the Rush2" are ok. Not too loud? The 'cops' are pretty hard on u here in West OZ. Cheers

I had a set of SE slip ons for my 07 FLSTC. Just a little louder than stock. Too quiet for me. Just installed Vance and Hines Big Shots Long and I love them. They are loud...

The street legal SE's are better than stock, but not much...I wouldn't spend my $$ on them...I've got an older not legal for street set, and like em a lot...

No, Rush is not an H-D product, but you can put any brand pipes or partsyou want on your bike without affecting your warranty...
