I just installed my new speedo/tacho, and after a few opinions from the forum, I decided to installed the famous pink wire on the only two open pins that I have. I tried what I think is the #1 and then #5, with no luck. This morning I tried to see if my alarm advisory light was still working and is not. And if I am correct, and according with maintenance manual, pin#6 is used for the alarm light. Since everybody in the past has mentioned the #6, Do you guys think I am in the wright track or when the dealer installed the alarm, they use the wrong socket. But I doubt, this because it was working before the swap? Please advise
