I've heard of some kind of kits containing some pistons or cilinders which allow you to turn your cable clutch to an hydraulic aided one, does any of you guys have some expertise with this kind of systems??? Are they reliable? Do they soften the clutch?
I can't really speak to hydraulic clutches, but if you're just looking to make the clutch easier to pull try the MRC kit. I put one on my wife's bike; made a HUGE difference. Unlike the Harley kit, you can even use it with a heavy clutch spring like the one on the big bore kit.

Mimo.
I've got a Rivera hydraulic clutch cover for 5 speeds, . I had it on my '87 Sloptail when I was attempting to make a hydraulic rocker clutch. The rocker setup was a Taiwan Tedd (V-Twin) piece of crap, and I was disappointed in how it operated. Took the rocker setup off, dropped the hydraulics, and went to a cable operated suicide clutch.
When set up properly the hydraulic is usually smoother to operate, but not necessarily easier. You also never have to lube the cable, or adjust it for stretch and clutch wear.
If anybody ever wants to go hydraulic, I'll sell the basically unused Rivera cover for $100.
