Default Installing Wild 1s 550s

I ordered new beach bars, risers and stainless steel line kit which includes throttle, idle, brake and clutch line. I was told that the factory wiring will work because there is some slack built into the harness. My concern is removing the pins from the 8 pin molex. I do not have a pin removal tool. Would it be easier to cut the harness, feed through the bars then solder and heat shrink the harness?

Any ideas/feedback would help. Thanks in advance!

I used a straight pin to take the pins out of the molex connector. Maybe using a sewing needle would be better. Just pull on the wire gently at the same time and it will come right out.

HeritageBrian,

Thanks for the heads up. I'll try the sewing needle.
