Another resurrected old thread. 
A riding buddy of mine used to fill his up until fuel came out of the overflow/vent tube. When I asked why he did it he
just said that he knew it was completely full that way. lol " I can afford those couple of ounces of gas"
Interestingly, he doesn't do it on his 2018 EG.
