I have a 1/2 helmet and have no problem with it being a parachute. I'd suggest either trying a
different brand, or a different size. I do have the quick detachable windshield, but my head is
above the top of the windshield anyway so it still sticks up into the wind.

i have one of everything. Tried a half helmet for awhile, and didnt care for the noise without earplugs. then went to 3/4-i still feel the same way you do. Like it's going to fly off my head on the interstate. I was going to try the do rag or beanie thing and see if that helps....

I just tried my full face the other day and i'd have to say that i love it. Fits a little snug, but i'm assuming it will loosen up a bit with time.

Who gives a damn how you look when your head hits the ground?

i've got 2 Shoei Rj Platnums fer sale. 300.00 for both ones a large the other a medium.Must sell together. Paid 600 for the pair. They are new (worn for 2 hours) I like my carbon skid lid better. They are open face and are black. Thought the wife would ride more and would put intercom in them so we could talk. They just sit.
