My first ride on my Rocker was great, but I am a little spoiled by my Road King and its tall windscreen. After I hit my first stretch of road on the Rocker, I remembered how I used to get that extra protein back in the day, by eating bugs. Well, I didn't want to wimp out totally so I just added the HD low profile, slightly smoked wind screen. The other one in the HD catalog for the Rockeris a bit taller and I have to admit that it may keep the wind off of your face a bit more, butI didn't want to get rid of the wind, just push a bit off of my body. This low profile one keeps a lot of wind off your centertorso and even reduces what hits you up high by a little. Again, just improves the ride if you are going over 50mph for a while otherwise you can pull it off the bike in 10 seconds by unlatching the four clamps.
Hope this helps anyone who wanted to know what the new screens looke like.
If you're wanting honest feedback, here goes...the Rocker doesn't strike me as the kind of bike that was engineered for non essential extras like windshields and bags...it's a stripped down hot rod look...I wouldn't clutter it up if it were me...just IMHO...

The low-profile, lightly shaded screen looks good. I have the slightly taller/wider widscreen and love it for longer/higher-speed rides with helmet. Best of all though are the four latches that allow easy and fast install & removal (I'm at~30 seconds after a few attempts). Then, when you are just locally cruisin, 4 clamps & 30 seconds, and you have clean forks for the bad-boy look.... gotta love it!
I agree the Rocker is supposed to be a stripped down hot rod bike. Having said that, I also have a windscreen (the taller one) and I use it for long stints on the interstate or similar all day on the highway rides. The rest of the time, pop the 4 clamps and its back to basics. Personally I like the look of the Rocker without the screen, but am glad I have it when I need it.
Agree with you, glad to have it when needed. And, even gladder that only 4 clamps and about 30 seconds are all that's required when I don't. Almost like having your cake and eating it too!
