92 FXSTS Swingarm assembly questions
Afternoon, everyone...
I'm re-installing the swingarm on my springer. Can anyone confirm that this looks correct? Here are shots of the left and right side assy; there's about an 1/8" gap on either side, and I had to play with the bolts a little to even it out; is this normal? I also replaced the swivel bearings and will be putting new progressive shocks on it. This is my first time doing a frame-off, and I'm obviously going forward very carefully and wanting to make sure the alignment is correct.
I tightened them to 150 ft/lbs as per the shop manual, which actually didn't feel like very much considering what utter bastards they were to take off...
