Strange...people break them in easy...people break them in hard...they ride them slow...they ride them fast...they vary the speed....they "hammer down"....







And yet everybody's bikes run fine...






Just ride 'em.....[8D]

Dealer is an idiot or just doesn't communicate very well. ENGINE speed is what matters. Vary it, don't bog it down or exceed redline, change the oil in the first couple hundred miles, and you'll be fine. You could have ridden around in first gear, not exceeding 50 MPH like he said, and fried your new baby!

My dealer said the same thing....I paid attention for the first 50 miles and then rode the hell out of it....running fine.
