Springer tire size question ?
A friend of mine has a 98 springer softtail and he was wondering how fat a tire can he put on it ?
It's a stock HD springer and he's got a narrow 21 inch tire on it now.
Any opinions or advice ?

Forgot to mention, I'm only talkin bout the front tire......of course that's prolly obvious with the 21 inch size mentioned. Ya have to give me a break cause I'm new at this

You can go for the 16" (same as Fatboy). There is one going around these parts and It looks OK. There are other mods involved to make them fit, the whole front wheel will have to be changed as the hub and axle are different, the guard needs to be changed but I'm not sure about the brake caliper mountings.
