Just curious if its only the baggers or is it all the 06 models having major problems with running lean
im taking my night train in for its first service on tuesday and my dealer has basically told me up front that they will not be changing injectors
now i have no problems really it pops on deceleration and runs a bit hot so i put a TFI unit on it while it only had about 50 miles on her fixed everything runs great
i have taken the tfi off for the first service
now others are saying no matter what you do to the injectors on the 06 you will still run lean ?
and before anyone says try another dealer we have 1 dealer here who has the rights to import harleys and he has 3 franchises near me but they all say and do what there told from head office
Mine was lean after i had my pipes and stg 1 kit installed with the download. i was told the 06 model was leaner due to emission laws. my new SERT has solved the prob and runs great now..
my uderstanding is the ney cvo injectors are a cure for the coughing, sputtering, pucking and stalling along with slow cold starting some bikes are having.
as for the lean conditions I beleive it is an issue with all 06 bikes. do a search here on the forums for these things; you will have plenty to read about.
