Not so much a saftey issue but if you dont want damage your bike get it in and get it fixed asap.

Do you need to take risers off to access it ? Is it the center bolt that sits beneath the cover or the one below ?

It was the neck bearing as everyone mentioned.&nbsp\\; Took it to the dearler in Glendale California, they fixed it with no problem, they said it was misadjusted from the factory.&nbsp\\; They readjusted it for no-charge.&nbsp\\; Just had to wait 7 hours, did not realize that every HD owner takes their bikes to the shop on Saturday.
