She's a grown woman now but she grew up riding passenger with me ever since she was less than a year old. I guess she's always remembered the feeling of the open air and going fast...well not so fast now but back then I was a hell razor.
She took the MSF course at Chester's HD in Mesa, Arizona and there were 4 women and 4 men. My daughter outscored all of them in the 2 days of riding AND the written test. I'm a damned proud Papa I'll tell ya. Yesterday coming back from her house I let her ride the Fatboy on Ironwood Road (10 mile stretch) and I was on her husbands bike. I wish I had had a camera as I drifted back in the fast lane and her in the slow lane looking at the rear quarter of the Fatboy and her on it....DAMN she looked good on that horse. I told her before she mounted fatty that it was a really easy bike to ride and after her 10 mile stint she was blown away it's easy manners. Heck I'm blown away by it too when I ride her.
I'm really stoked about riding with her. It's damned hot here right now but never too hot to ride with my daughter Diane.
Now that there would be an understatement as can be seen by the big grin on her face. I'm beginning to worry for the welfare of my grand kids cuz Mom would rather ride than cook now. Guess I can't blame her for that though. \\;
