Default Tool box keys
Anybody else notice that any round key will unlock the kidney shaped chrome toolbox from HD? If so did you do anything to change it? I'm just waiting for one of my riding pals to unlock it with their ignition key sometime and replace my tool kit with a copperhead or something.

Yep. Same deal with the Glides and gas cap door. Any key will open them.

It is less then ideal, esspecally give the cost of a decent tool kit. Granted that would be offset by the worth of a coperhead.

I've got a $200.00 set of Snap On tools and I hate snakes so I think I'm going to see the local locksmith tomorrow.&nbsp\\;

Went to locksmith today and had round lock replaced with a flat key type works like a charm.

Snap On makes a set that comes in a bag made to fit in the toolbox. According to them it will almost completely disassemble the bike. I kind of doubt that but it is really handy.

The invoice showed the item # 1 CYCLESET and the description was Motorcycle Road Kit $249.00
