after a visit to my local dealer today for parts on my 06 Deluxe I can home with a new Ultra Classic; I will still be lurking around the softail section but you will find me in the Touring section scaming mods and learning about my new ride. stay in touch and ride like hell cause rain is comming.
Well hey congrats on the new ride. I take it you went from an '06 to an '06? Well good for you. A touring bike will be next for me too but that'll be a few years down the road. Enjoy it!

It is a nice ride. What made you decide to move up to an Ultra? Your Deluxe with those bags was perfect. Just kidding...good choice.
my plane was to purchase the deluxe and get the wife to ride it first then purchase a bagger, found myself spending alot of cash on the deluxe and decided to by bagger befor i run out of $$
I bought a bagger over the weekend, I just could not let my Night Train go after all that we have been through.
The funny thing is that I wanted to let my wife drive the NT, however, she sat on the RK and putted around a little and decided she likes that one better.
It does not bother me because I picked out both bikes and I enjoy riding each of them.
It may be blasphemy to say in the softail forum, that the RK is a better handling and more comfortable ride.
