Seriously, I'd have to agree with dbleagle, I don't know that the old time biker really exists anymore. Most everyone just enjoys riding, whether it's every day, cross country or just to the Harley shop every Saturday.
As stupid a question as this is, I'm going to reply.
One thing I have learned in my time riding. You will NEVER be able to tell a true biker by looking at them or by what they ride or by how much they make. Your going to have to talk to them a bit to tell. Never judge by appearances. Most people will surprise you one way or the other.
I consider myself a Motorcycle Enthusiast...
I stop and talk with other Enthusiasts,
I wave to Little Kids, Old people, and anyone else that watches me ride down the road...
If I see a motorcycle broken down on the side of the road, I'll stop...and I'll try and help the best I can.
I have done most of the maintenance on my own bikes...
I have never rebuilt a EVO or a Shovelhead... but I have owned them
I don't dress to impress...
I wear things that will help me when I Crash, and live to ride another day
I could care less what you think of me...
I define who I am... not what I ride, what I wear, or some stupid Label that seems so important to some.
