Looking for some advice about installing and internal throttle. my concern is that I have a 07 NightTrain and it has dual cable throttle. Any one installed internal throttle on a dual cable stock system? any recommended products?
I read the streamline has a spring which allows single cable setup on dual cable stock EFI.
There is a heavy return spring on the throttle body itself. The DOT mandated dual throttle cables as a safety feature.
Buuut all of the internal throttle controls suck for everyday riding.
Why does the internal throttle suck for everyday riding? Just curious because I was thinking about installing one myself but if it's not worth it I would like to know now instead of learning the hard way.
Check out www.cyrilhuze.com he has internal throttle devices and also some pretty slick looking stealth handlebar controls... Not cheap thou... He is in Boca Raton Fl.

I manufacture the only DOT approved internal throttle on the market, My patented throttle uses 6 bearings, 5 radial and one needle, It has a Spring return inside the throttle to help assist the Carb spring and allow for smooth return. It is manufactured out of 6061-T6 Aluminum then Hard coated for long life, we offer them in a new size that is specfic to fitting stock harleys with hand controls with swtiches. To install you dont need a welder, just a hack saw of cut off wheel, remove 4.75" off existing handle bar, remove return cable from stock set up, cut stock cable pull on throttle side, slide throttle into handle bars to scribed line on throttle, tighten down my wedge bolt (NO WELDING) run cable through center bolt/outer sleeve stop, attach to the internal cable pull and your done, VERY SIMPLE.
