Installed the kit on my 06 Nightrain , then took it off. Its good for a solo rider , but I found it not so good for a passenger. It lowered my Train from 2 to 4 inches , depending on the the adjustment , belt rubbed on the inside top of the primary . I adjusted it all the way up and reset the preload on my shocks , but a bump would cause the belt to rub . Even at the lowest setting I could not make the damn thing work . Hell of a concept though , just did not work well for me.

I receive mine today but I can't install it until I receive my Larin Jack. I hope it will work and if it doesn't then I'll install the Progressive lowering bolt.
Good News! I took the kit off a made a few mods and it worked great. It ended up lowering the Train 1 inch , perfect! First I backed the closest nut to the shock all the way down and put on a little red Loctite , then took both of the rubber/elastic isolators and took a about an 1/8th off with my trusty grinder. Bolted her all back up , made a quick 1 1/2 turn adjustment on the spring preload stiffer and she's perfect . 1 inch drop , great ride and no rubbing . Whole cost of mods , zero , time , about an hour total . Great product , just needs a little tweaking. One little helpful hint , put something under the rear wheel to raise it up all the way during install and tilt the shocks up in the rear and slide them in , makes it a whole lot easier...
That's great...good to know it works with minor tweaking. I'm still waiting for my jack[&o] until then I'm trying to figure out the best posible way to remove and install the shocks. I might need a service manual.
