Unhappy Dropped the dang bike

Went to a buddys house, got off and the kickstand sank and bike fell over. It was on gravel so it scracthed everything it touched. Ordered some new parts allready. Please tell me this has happened to others. I feel like such an idiot.

Happens quite often for different reasons. I truly feel for you, but I'm glad I haven't joined the "Oh Chit" club yet.

Don't feel bad, almost everyone drops there bikes now and then, and it usually happens by no-brainer stuff. I've dropped mine about 5 times luckily with the drag bars it doesn't hit anything but the shifter lever.

Dropped this one twice since 2002. Stupid no brainer stuff. A few scratches is all.

I dropped my Ninja doing the MSF course, it was stupid, I'd already completed the task and was getting back in line and one of the instructors waved me to stop and with out thinking while slowing doing a curve (our task was quick stops) I hit the break and down she went. Luckly no scratches and I just broke off part of the shifter which I replaced myself. Part was 12 used.

Sank a Honda CB750 stand into soft asphalt many years ago...over it went while I was in a restaurant. Just takes once and you never do it again.
