This is what my 2005 FLSTFSE (SE Fat Boy) owner's manual states on page 66.
1. Turn ignition key on-off-on-off-on
2. Press left turn switch 2 times and release. ( turn signal signals should flash 2 or 3 times)
3. Press and hold key fob until confirmation is received. (1 flash of turn signals)
4. Press left turn signal 1 time and release. Turn signals will flash to indicate the current option selected:
1 flash- extremely low
2 flashes- low sensitivity
3 flashes- medium sensitivity
4 flashes- high sensitivity
5. Press and release left turn switch to advance through options. (Turn signals flash to indicate the new option selected. 1,2,3 or 4 flashes.
6. Turn ignition key off.
i had me issue with my SG. U cannot adjust the sensitivity. HD dealer adjusted my footpeg to lean a little less ad that solved my problem since this would place the bike more upright and the sensor would read earlier since its really made to sense bike in the standard upright postion. try it out.
