I'm trying to visualize my Heritage (with the nacelle) without the passing lamps and associated hardware. I would need to relo the front blinkers to the forks and maintain the ability to use the quick disconnect windshield.
I'm thinking it would look like a Fatboy setup with a nacelle installed and the blinkers relo'd. I couldn't find any pic's of any of the FL softails setup like this (maybe there is, I just didn't find them).
Would I be making a huge mistake giving up passing lamps?
Do you think this would look good/unique?
Do you know of any pic's available with this setup?
Here's a pic of a Fatboy wiht the setup you're talking about.Since this picture I've replaced the T/S with a turn signal bar that mounts on the bottom of the triple tree,I ike a clean front end,but with that said I think the passing lamp set up on your Heritage looks good.
Great idea Crawdad! I have a set of little bullet type TS that I am going to mount on mine when I get the Nacelle put on. I am going to use thread all on the bottom mount location of the windshield bracket. I to want to keep my windshield detachable and available.
Greenthumb, a bike simular to yours is the reason that I bought my Nacelle! I like the clean looking front end.
I like the idea. The first thing I did when I bought my Fatboy was to remove the light bar. I like ther sleeker look and think it would suit your Heritage too. And I love that nacelle, makes the bike look beefy. I hope to have one in the near future.
