Default Turn Signal relocation

I've got a really neat set of saddlebags that will look great on my new Crossbones. Unfortunately, they are about a half inch or so too long to clear the rear turn signals. The bike already has the HD turnsignal relo kit (moving the signals to the rearmost hole in the fender rail). I could pick up the needed clearance with a flat turn signal, but the ones I've seen look like they belong on a Vespa. Any ideas?

There are several mfrs of tailights that have the turn signals built in, such as the Panerca by Kuryakyn. That way you could eliminate the turn signals completely from the bike.

I'm debating between smaller aluminum LED turn signals and a license plate bracket with them built in. Maybe both? I'm kinda big on lights for visibility and safety. Now all I need to find is some clamps to hold my spotlights to the spotlight bar and I'll be in bizness.

I moved mine to the side of the license plate bracket. Just enough room on that little strut.

I switched my rear signals to mini LED bullet strut huggers.
They allow plenty of clearance. If you are interested I will look up what they are actually called.

Just Dave - Brilliant!! So simple & yet effective. One for the back pocket, methinks. I'm never sure of the tiny LED solution, as it's not the rear that you have to cater for with lights, it's the 45 degree angle for those trying to overtake!

Great idea, ta.

What a great idea!! Seems like the cleanest and cheapest way to do what I want. Hopefully there is the same room available on the Crossbones. Tmitchell, thanks for your input also. Looks great. they look like Auto-gems and are definately on my list to add at some point.

Thanks to all!

Mine are from Kuryakyn. They are called LED strut mount mini bullets. They are in the J&P catalog 330-641, for red and 330-642, for amber lens. Page 339 in the catalog I have now.
I took a picture so you could see how they hug the struts, but it came out a bit dark.
