What Dinger said.If you want a 21" on the front you'll have to change fenders or do some mods to your's.My opinion is the 21" just doesn't look right on a Fatboy, don't know why especially when you look at a bike like Dingers and it looks so right on there.18's would look good.I've got aftermarket wheels and a built engine on my bike now,but I'm thinking about getting a Bagger and if I do I'll probably just add some nice wheels and leave the rest stock.I think a good set of wheels adds the most bang for your buck.
I have the same debate,
I opt wheels,
1 - I am getting sealed wheels to put tubeless (safety first).
2 - They look amazing and Harley's are about looks.
3 - If I wanted a faster engine, I would have kept my R1 LOL
Definately leaning towards the wheels. Especially since I may be getting some parts for my Big Bore Kit for Christmas anyway.
Next question, should I go all chrome, or I was maybe thinking doing some black? Maybe black spokes to match the black engine guard, A/C cover, horn cover, axle covers, frame, speedo insert etc.
I will eventually repaint the bike with some black in the paint scheme too, but not for awhile.
I always look at it as: is it cosmetic or performance, when buying anything new for the bike,,,,,,,,, if it adds functionality buy it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
