Those would look killer, but there is already a lot of black on your bike. I think the all chrome would really set it off. I am interested in seeing how an 18" looks on a fatboy. For anyone who is wondering, my wheels stock 16"s that have been chromed. The witewalls jsut make it look a little different. Dinger is my upgrade consultant 99% of the time. He has a good eye for what looks right. Hat's off Dinger, and oh yeah, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

thanks for the feedback, I am just looking for a way to make it as unique as possible without crossing the line to gaudy or just plain ugly. I think the 18's will suit my needs without having to get a new fender and paint it to match, etc. I don't want to over do the black, but then again I guess I can say the same about chrome too. Balance is best IMO.
Too bad your are leaning towards wheels... Oh well, that is why we all have our own bike our own taste and our own opinion. I would go performance before looks, my .02. But at least you will look cool while you are getting passed in the hills .
Are the wheels you are considering lighter than stock? If so, do the wheels (first ). Lighter wheels = lower unsprung weight... and lower unsprung weight translates into a bike that not only accelerates quicker, but stops and handles better too. A big bore, while fun, will do nothing to improve braking or handling.

Good thing there aren't too many hills around here...plus the guys passing me are on metric bikes anyway. The engine stuff will come eventually.
