A couple of buddys & I went for a little ride today & the damn road gremlins cought up with us. one of my turnsignel bulbs burned out. But my question to you guys is. My freinds 04 Heritage Check engine light kept comming on & off. When you first start these new fuel injected bikes you turn it on & wait for the engine light to go off. it is that light that keeps comming on & off. Does any one know what it may be?

The CEL is saying that there is a historic code in the ECM.... The bike needs to be hooked up mto a Digital Tech and have it rectified and cleared...

 

Thanks Bob, I was thinking that was the case, but hoping there might be another possibility.

 

he took his bike in on monday & they told him it was caused by the H.D. dbl Platuium spark plugs he put in the day before. Zion H.D. told him they have seen alot of bikes throw a code when they put them plugs in. They switched him back to the regular (silver) spark plugs & cleared the code.
