Default 06 Fatboy tire sizes?

Local dealer shows one on their showroom floor and list the front tire as 140 and the rear as 200... I've heard these enough to know (or at least enough to think I know) that they're referring to the tire width?

So on my 2006 all I've been able to find is this...

Front – D402F MT90B16 72H
Rear – D401 150/80B16 71H

I'd like to know what the sizes are in relation to 140, 200 etc???

The 200 indicates this tire is 200 millimeters across from the widest point of its outer sidewall to the widest point of its inner sidewall when mounted and measured on a specified width wheel. This measurement is also referred to as the tire's section width. Because many people think of measurements in inches, the 200mm can be converted to inches by dividing the section width in millimeters by 25.4 (the number of millimeters per inch).

200mm / 25.4 = 7.87"

thanks for the info but I don't think that even begins to answer my question... unless you're suggesting I measure the tire myself? lol
The 2009 on the dealers showroom floor says the front is 140mm and the rear is 200mm. I want to know what is the mm dimensions of my front and rear tire on my 2006 FLSTFI Fatboy????

thanks rolloffhill and lockman... ya know, I saw that but because they weren't listed exactly the same AND because the tires really don't look that much different in width I wasn't sure. I am not doubting either of you... because I know absolutely nothing about all this (if I haven't already made that clear?) but they reallllly don't look like there's 60mm difference in the width of between the front and rear tire? Anyway, if the widest I could put on the rear is 10mm wider than I'll probably just save for a conversion kit like the 250 conversion at heartlander.com

again thanks u2

then even though it's not stock, the previous owner must've put a wider tire on the front then because it's definately bigger than 2 1/4" - 2 3/8" ?
