hello. i was looking into getting a fatboy that may be up for sale in the near future from a friend at work. so, i have a couple of questions.
1. can the front end be lowered?

Yes, the front can be lowered with a kit from HD or other manufacturers, they are simply shorter springs.
You can buy lower legs that are chrome or black powder coat from HD. I have the chrome ones on mine.
