Default Installing a cam cover

What does it take to install a cam cover (besides the obvious perimeter bolts) on a 2000 Softtail Standard? Also looking to install a chrome tranny end, What does this take?

Get a new gasket and when your removing the old cover have someone hold your bike towards the left so no oil drips out, then torque the new one to specs. Make sure the gasket area is dry so it seals correctly.

You'll also have to unplug the cam sensor from the harness and put it on the new cover. The hardest part to changing the trans end cover is moving the exhaust and scrapping the old gasket off.
