I've got some choices to make then dont I!!! I will make sure I post pics when I do get it done. I bought the Heavy Breather to. Im tired of stretching my legs out and that football just slams right up against my right knee. It should look pretty good.
The thing about the Shotgun shock is that it's a totally new and unique approach to air ride. It contains 4 internal, seperate solenoids. Two inject/release air on one side of the barrel, and two inject/release on the other side.
Unlike the single side charge, this gives total adjustment to the driver for both sides of the unit to control shock and rebound rates while riding down the road. It also gives you complete travel from your swing arm, a total of 5". Who else does that? I don't know.
I'm just a customer who hasn't riden my bike with it mounted yet, in fact, the unit's still in the box, but it sounds to me like the best approach yet to a smooth air ride suspension.. You are riding on 100% air that makes it unlike anything else. The ride should be incredible, and with the solenoids being internal I should be able to ride forever without any possible worries about deflation from leakage...
I think this is a "get what you pay for" kind of product.

It is brand new product though!!! You are not worried about that at all? No product reviews? First of its kind is pretty cool though. The idea is pretty impressive though. How much snow you got up there? Im driving to Oswego on wednesday. Cant wait to drive threw that crap.
I am gonna do it after christmas. as soon as I get some time I will post pics. Its gonna look bad ***. I won a heartland front fender off ebay. Still waiting on it though. Hopefully I get it. Get that painted and I should be good. Could someone take a pic and post it of the switching mechanism under the seat. Trying to get some ideas!!!

I like to try new things. I've got no problem with trying new designs, especially this one. There are plenty of rough riding leaky shock systems out there that have been road tested for years to choose from.
I'll pass on that. The other thing I like is that the compressor is mounted on the bottom of the transmission, so you can't see it.. That's what turned me off to Arnott. I didn't want to see that mounting plate and the wires leading to the ugly compressor.
Lots of snow here. What's worse is that it's windy and you can't see your hand in front of your face. 11 degrees sucks.
Just bought the Hi Lo Air suspension. It will be here next week. $800 bucks. They had a 20% off. Originally a grand. Who in here has them again? Thanks to everybody that helped me out with the research.
Where does the hi-lo compressor attach? the swing arm that i changed to isn't the standard a shape. so the space behind the transmission is taken up by it.
