You could use these to "raise" the pegs higher so NO boots would touch yer pipes!
Then again... just ceramic them black! The pipes, not the boots.

 

Make her clean the marks and maybe she'll be more careful next time

 

you might could try something like this. They are extra little heat shields that are mounted in the peg areas.
