I changed my pipes to rush slip ons. Did a lot of research also.
Rush claims the pipes I bought are designed and engineered for my bike without doing other modifications. They say that it changes the sound, (which it did!!!!!!!!) but will not give better performance. They sound Awsome, and so far, I have had no side affects.
Give Rush a call, the people I talked to seemed pretty knowledgeable.
I will be changing out exhaust this spring...currently have 07 flstf with stg 1 se intake, slip ons and mapped...will be going with radius V&H...she is going in the shop anyway this spring...dial it in...will I need to...just have it done anyway? @ 5000 miles
This might be contrary to popular opinion but I want to quietdown my Harley BT exhaust .I live in a seniors complex and would like to be at a Honda Goldwing sound level and. please dont tell me to buy a Goldwing. I have outgrown my Street Squid Olympic ambitions and no longer like a loud bike .
just put on vance and hines short shots. on my 2013 883 superlow. I notice mpg is decrease by 6 miles a gallon. bike's maxes out at speed of 109 and hesitate at 109. before exhaust was added, bike did 113 smooth. other than that bike runs normal. also can anyone tell me why this is happening and what to do to fix it.
