It really isn't an issue with the outstanding service department at the dealership. My left taillight, brake light quit working, so I wasn't aware that it is a sealed unit and they don't offer a bulb. You have to replace the whole turn signal housing and wires. Thank God its covered under warranty, because that turn, brake signal is $204.00 bucks. They ordered it and because of new years, it will take a couple of weeks to get here. They said no problem, and we'll call when it gets here. Its my first malfunction on my bike after 9,200 something miles. And it feels nice to be taken care of without a hassle! They treat me like family.

 

That's cool! and it's good to here some posotive feedback about a dealer every now and then!

 

I own an '09 rocker c and my right rear light lens cracked when they were installing my pipes...they told me the same thing the price is nuts but they covered it...but what if i were to have cracked it myself...a guy or gal can't just buy the lens cover they have to buy the whole encased unit...which is as you said 200 big ones for cracking your lens...think they would have made exchanging those parts possible..anyways I hear what you're saying expensive the way they made the tail lights

 

yeah, those suckers are expensive cause they are LEDs. good to hear they did the right thing. sucks when us, the little people, get taken by these freaking stealers !!!
