I just traded up from a Sportster to a 08 Rocker C last week, and am now looking to make the bike my own. I realy want to put a Martin Bros WTF on there; but have been told if I do that I need the PC and the AC instaled as well(wich are in the plans). Will the bike run fine with the new pipes till I can get the PC and AC.
I communicated with Martin Brothers last month regarding which pipes of theirs would fit a Rocker C. I was told that either the "Daisy Cutters" or the "Shockwaves" would fit, so I am not sure the WTFS will fit a Rocker.
Congrat's on the upgrade, talk about night and day..
Let me tell you my experience and you can use it to help you decide.
bought a new 04 Softail Nightrain with FI, no O2 sensors. Did my 400 miles or so, then put on V&H Big Radius. Started it up, ran like crap (lean). Makes it run hotter too. Put on Arlen Ness Big Sucka', Little better, still lean, still hot. Took it to the local dealership and paid like $200 for a generic stage one remap. Rode it home, better but not 100%, I could tell something wasn't right. After a month of be pissed, ordered Power Commander (I know, I was against them too) and ordered it with a custom map for my setup, and I had the rev-limiter raised a hair. It came in the mail, plugged it in and fired it up. I could tell idleing in the garage it was all better now. I can't tell you how much it helped, just a lot. When I tell you I can bring the front end up, I can. Just a little, know why? back tire spins... get the PCIII and quit playing around. I'm hooked and only cost me $200 lesson. I think the PCIII mapped was $300 or $400, don't care, it's perfect. And I can download upgrades for when I do a cam later, all free.
As Blk and Chrome said, if you just are doing the pipes.....No, you don't need to do air and remap. Once you do air filter.....Yes, you need fuel managment system (I would do a dyno also).

Looking at it the WTF's should work. I will have to call them in the morning to see I am also interested in the Getto Blaster. I curently have the Arlen Ness Battistini foot and shifter pegs on order, and am looking to put the same grips on.
