Ok guys i finally got my heartland kit in. i am really looking forward to putting it on but the way i work i wont be able to start on it till friday i am going to go ahead and put it all on for kinda a trial type thing then send it off to paint i am also putting a new front fender on my ride the question i have for all of you that bought the heartland kit i seen 2 slots in the bottom of the struts can anyone tell me what they are for with my own little weak mind i kinda figured it is for the signal lights but i was going to ask before i started in on my bike. thanks for all of your alls help. i will get some pics of it this weekend when i got all the parts on it before paint then soon as i get it all back i will get us some more
They are for the wiring for your lights...need to measure out where it runs and drill a hole in your fender to pull wire through...that is if you are also relocating your rear lights...I got the heartland rear lights also and mounted them with a bracket to the second bolt holding on strut and i drilled the hole close to that strut

Tomhummer i might be wrong but i think he might have struts upside down and actually mean the slots that the pillion seat can fit in.....i might be wrong usually am !
Rocker are they smooth and springy when you push em in ?
Well that would make it two slots on the top side of the struts...but yes he could mean that...so he should make it clearer what part of strut he's talking about...and if he means the channels on the side facing the actual fender or the two slots intended for the passenger seat on the top portion of the strut
thanks tom that is what i thought if you have any extra time tom could you take some pics of the way you mounted your turn signals that is what i am having trouble trying to figure out what to do with them i thought about useing the led licence plate frame with the stop light and turn signals but havent decided yet thanks for your help

I have the large size heartlands in back and their small ones in front
how big a box does the heartland kit come in, I am planning on having one of my pals hand carry it from Canada to Thailand for me, is that feasible????
